FAQs
Quotes
A charter operator may have a website which generates an estimate derived from an algorithm.
The aforementioned estimated price is based on industry norm aircraft operating rates and utilises an estimate in respect of the recoverable items such as:
- airport taxes, approach and landing fees
- passenger fees
- parking fees
- ATNS fees
- SAWS fees
- catering
- crew S&T’s, meal allowances, accommodation and vehicle rental
These recoverable items are not accurate in terms of real time master data obtained directly from third party service providers.
Fly ChApp draws all of their master data from their database which is directly connected with their partner charter operators and is able to present multiple quotations, which are vastly more accurate to the users within seconds.
The charter operator hooks a prospective client with an estimate and, should they get a response, they will then proceed to compile a detailed quotation.
Fly ChApp generates a detailed quotation instead from the outset that is accurate, to the extent that in the near future the quotation will not need to be verified by the charter operator and can proceed directly to booking.
Generally, charter operators will only display the aircraft listed in their own fleet, whereas Fly ChApp offers a large amount of various types of aircraft from multiple suppliers. This results in the appropriate aircraft being offered.
Fly ChApp acts as an intermediary between the customer and charter operator similar to a charter broker. However, the Fly ChApp system is substantially more effective and efficient.
Fly ChApp calculates the pricing on behalf of the charter operators’ based on their own master data, thereby producing accurate quotations which are presented directly to the customer.
Should the customer be satisfied with the quotation; it is then verified by the charter operator whose aircraft was selected in the quotation.
This is opposed to a general request emanating from the broker or travel agent to multiple operators having to generate multiple quotations from scratch which may never translate into bookings.
Fly ChApp offers the following additional services:
- Facilitates online EFT or credit card payments
- Allows the user to book a flight directly with the charter operator
- Users may view their flight itineraries, generate and print e-tickets and invoices directly from the system
The system manages the whole process from the quotation to the booking of the flight, to managing payments and providing accounting functionality.
